The Buzz
July 21, 2007 by Brian Fling
The reaction to Leaflets was incredible. Far more than anything we could have ever imagined. We wanted to do a brief round up of some of the notable mentions that helped build the buzz around Leaflets for posterity's sake.
- John Gruber of Daring Fireball was the first to break the news with a fantastic review.
- Mike Davidson of Newsvine provided an excellent review
- Michael Arrington of TechCrunch called us a Must-Have iPhone App
- The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW) had very kind words saying "Leaflets features great design with some of the best big and small iPhone apps available. Great work."
- The folks at Upcoming who really helped us make the Upcoming Leaflet sing, wrote up a nice piece on their blog.
- MacLife gave us a great review, calling it, "pretty darn cool."
- PC World and MacWorld did nice summaries on Leaflets
- On Command N we were Will's pick of the week.
- We had a great conversation on Mobile Design, a mailing list that I run.
- iLounge gave us a nice mention.
- Media Temple gave us a nice mention
- The Seattle Times, thought Leaflets was similar to ZenZui. Not quite right, but we love ZenZui, so we are in good company.
- We got a brief mention on Vodafone's R&D TrendWatchlist
- ZDNet gave us a nice mention.
- Blogvasion provided a very nice write up, saying to "check out Leaflets right away and enjoy your mobile friend."
- They mentioned us over at iPhoneScoop, below Video Poker, but we can live with that.
- Chris Pallé gave us a very nice write up
This is by no means an exhaustive list, but some of our favorites. Thank you to everyone that mentioned Leaflets this week, it really means a lot to us.
